Job Overview

We are looking for a qualified Journeyman Plumber to contribute to our operations at QntmLogic. In this role, you will be tasked with the installation, repair, and upkeep of plumbing systems across various settings, including both residential and commercial properties. This position offers a full-time schedule with competitive compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, install, maintain, and conduct pressure tests on all plumbing components including pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, drainage, sprinkler, and gas systems in accordance with plumbing standards and regulations.
  • Identify plumbing issues and execute repairs as per work orders.
  • Install and repair plumbing equipment such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and water softeners.
  • Complete work orders efficiently.
  • Select appropriate materials and hardware, providing estimates for time and resources.
  • Keep accurate records of materials and labor utilized.
  • Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Inspect completed jobs to ensure cleanliness and compliance.
  • Respond to emergency service calls as required.
Additional Responsibilities

Flexibility is essential, as you may be required to assist in other areas of the Service Department during staff shortages or to engage in light construction tasks.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A valid Wisconsin Journeyman Plumber License
  • Completion of OSHA 10 Construction training

Additional skills include:

  • Exceptional customer service and sales abilities
  • Proficient knowledge of plumbing maintenance, repairs, and installation methods
  • Post-secondary education from a college, trade school, or military experience
  • Strong understanding of plumbing trades
  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and control circuits related to plumbing systems
  • Technical proficiency with local plumbing codes and problem-solving resources
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks
  • Competence in common office software applications such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • A commitment to personal and professional growth
  • A professional appearance and a strong work ethic
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to work non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift over 40 pounds throughout the work shift
