The Dietary Aide plays a crucial role in ensuring cleanliness and sanitation within the kitchen and dishwashing areas. This position involves various responsibilities aimed at maintaining the hygiene of floors, walls, dishwashing machines, and kitchen equipment. The Dietary Aide also provides assistance to material handlers as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain sanitary conditions in the kitchen and pot & pan areas.
  • Perform cleaning tasks for floors, walls, and kitchen equipment.
  • Assist with dishwashing and related duties.
  • Support material handlers as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in food service within an institutional or commercial environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the use of chemical sanitizers is essential.

Certification Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid City of Ft. Worth Food Handlers Card prior to employment.
  • The card must remain current throughout the duration of employment.
