Job Summary

The Village of Lake in the Hills is seeking a Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our preschool staff, you will assist the Preschool Supervisor and Lead Teachers in providing a safe and engaging learning environment for our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily classroom setup and maintenance
  • Coordinate snack time and ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Support projects and activities as needed, under the direction of the Preschool Supervisor and Lead Teachers
  • Substitute for other preschool staff as required
  • Maintain order and enforce rules to control behavior
  • Provide first aid assistance and report any incidents or accidents
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid Illinois driver's license
  • Previous experience in a childcare setting, preferably in a preschool program
Working Conditions
