We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant to join our team at Austin K Brown DDS PC.

As a key member of our oral health care team, you will be responsible for assisting our dentist in providing high-quality patient care. We are looking for an individual who can maintain accurate records, prepare patients for treatment, and set up equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist in preparing patients for treatment, including sterilizing instruments and setting up equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical and dental histories, vital signs, and treatment information.
  • Expose dental diagnostic x-rays and take and record patients' medical and dental histories and vital signs.
  • Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by the dentist.
  • Order and monitor dental supplies and equipment inventory.
  • Fabricate temporary restorations or custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
  • Makes preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts.
  • Cleans and polishes removable appliances.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Completion of a registered dental assistant program approved by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
  • Current certification as a registered dental assistant (RDA) or certified dental assistant (CDA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.

Compensation:

$55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.

This salary range is based on industry standards and takes into account factors such as location, level of experience, and qualifications.
