About the Role:

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric services to children and adolescents, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of mental health conditions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, including psychological evaluations and medical histories, to inform treatment decisions.
  • Prescribe and manage medications, as well as provide psychotherapy and other evidence-based interventions.

Requirements:

  • Board certification in psychiatry or a related field.
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Maine.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
