">About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Parkland Health and Hospital System. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine to complex quality breast imaging and procedures to the standards of PHHS, State and Federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs mammography tests and develops the results to produce quality breast images for radiologists.
- Evaluates patient history and physicians orders to ensure appropriate procedures are performed.
- Maintains proper documentation on the Radiology Information System to track the procedures performed on each patient.
- Communicates and consults with patients informing them of procedures to be performed.
- Maintains a positive working relationship with employees, medical staff, patients and visitors.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT in Radiography.
- Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification from Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) or Texas Medical Board.
- CPR course completion card.
