Job Overview

SEACORP is in search of a highly skilled Senior Systems Architect.

Key Responsibilities:

Position Summary: A Senior Systems Architect, often referred to as a lead systems analyst or a network engineer with programming capabilities, is essential for managing complex systems.

Core Duties:

  • Supervises the development of integrated software, web, and hardware solutions from initial design through to deployment and ongoing support.
  • Facilitates the integration of diverse network operating systems, application software, and hardware components.
  • Oversees the software development lifecycle for creating robust software, hardware, and web applications, encompassing: requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering field or equivalent professional experience.

Experience: At least 7 years of relevant experience as a Systems Engineer, with a preference for those familiar with NPES systems.

As a condition of employment, all SEACORP personnel must possess U.S. Citizenship.

Location: Newport, RI

Travel: Rarely (less than 3 times a year)

Security Clearance: Secret

Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Office and Computer Labs - This role necessitates the following physical activities: Sitting, standing, prolonged use of a mouse and keyboard, and viewing computer screens. Occasional lifting of less than 40 lbs. Movement within the same office or between buildings. Work is conducted in generally stable environmental conditions with some seasonal variations in temperature and lighting.
