Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Ascension Providence Hospital in Waco, Texas. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating a scanner to obtain high-quality images used to diagnose and treat various pathologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI examinations, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
  • Select and adjust anatomic and technical parameters to produce high-quality images.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images to magnetic media, and develop film in an automatic processor.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to ensure patient safety.
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • One or more of the following certifications: NMTCB, ARRT (M), ARDMS, or ARMRT.
  • High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
