Kitchen Expediter

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Kitchen Expediter to join our team at Charlotte's Coffee House. As a key player in ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, you will oversee the preparation and presentation of various food and beverages, ensuring every dish meets our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the timely and accurate flow of all menu items between the kitchen and the front of the house.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and drinks, ensuring every item aligns with our quality standards.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked kitchen display, ensuring all food and beverage items are ready to serve.
• Assist with food preparation, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to health and safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with both kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service and resolve any issues with orders.
• Monitor stock levels of kitchen supplies and notify the purchasing department when replenishment is needed.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen, food expediting, or similar role preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Keen attention to detail, especially in the presentation and quality of all menu items.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-energy kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.
