Job Summary

Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center is seeking a skilled Traveling Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Telemetry unit. As a Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals and provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiac conditions, including telemetry monitoring and management of cardiac drips.
  • Collaborate with the heart failure navigator to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Work effectively in a team environment to ensure seamless patient care and efficient unit operations.
  • Participate in unit orientation and training programs to stay up-to-date on unit policies and procedures.
  • Float to other telemetry units as needed to ensure adequate staffing and patient care.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a telemetry unit.
  • Experience with cardiac drips, including Cardizem, Dopamine, dobutamine, milrinone, amiodarone, Lasix, and heparin.
  • ACLS and BCLS certification.
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and float to other units as needed.
  • Ability to work 4 weekend days in a 6-week time track.
