About the Role

Hanon Systems is seeking a highly skilled EHS Professional to join our team. As an EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the safety, environmental, and health aspects of our plant operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement EHS Programs: Create and maintain effective EHS programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify and assess potential hazards in the workplace to develop strategies for mitigation and prevention.
  • Investigate Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations into workplace incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and Maintain EHS Training Programs: Design and deliver training programs to ensure employees are aware of EHS policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and Report EHS Metrics: Track and analyze EHS metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with operations, maintenance, and other teams to ensure EHS considerations are integrated into all aspects of plant operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS, with a strong background in regulatory compliance and risk management.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
Working Conditions

The EHS Specialist will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, bright lights, and varying temperatures. The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
