Veterinary Kennel Attendant

Since 1891, the CENTRAL NEW YORK SPCA has been dedicated to addressing issues of animal neglect and cruelty in our community. Our organization was founded in response to the mistreatment of mules pulling barges on the Erie Canal.

We are proud to have a long history of serving the Central New York region and look forward to continuing our mission to improve the lives of animals in need.

As an Animal Care Specialist at the CENTRAL NEW YORK SPCA, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals while working in a supportive and dynamic team environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience working with animals in a kennel or shelter environment preferred
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time

• Competitive salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 per year
