Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at UofL Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the well-being of our patients and their families.

About the Job

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a strong foundation in nursing principles and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive high-quality care and attention.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of clinical experience and a proven track record of delivering outstanding patient care. A current RN license in the State of Kentucky and ACLS certification are also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient triage through telephone and walk-in triage, documentation, and follow-up
  • Prepare patients for physician visits by obtaining vital signs, health history information, and assisting with paperwork
  • Assist with medication administration, follow-up calls, and documentation in the Electronic Health Record
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program
  • Current RN license in the State of Kentucky
  • Minimum 4 years clinical experience
  • Minimum 1 year in medical office experience
  • Must be ACLS Certified
Working Conditions

A good portion of each day will be spent walking and standing. Some bending and reaching when working directly with patients. Must be able to get up and down out of a chair without difficulty.
