Job Summary

As a Welding Lead at Nelson Global - Arcadia, you will be responsible for leading and supervising the welding department, ensuring a safe and clean working environment, and working on production assignments. You will assist the supervisor with daily resource balancing and staffing, set up work cells, and sign off on 1st piece inspection. You will also be responsible for recording metrics and maintaining metric boards, entering maintenance work orders, and meeting production schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the welding department

Requirements
  • Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred
  • 1 year of manufacturing or production experience is preferred
Skills and Abilities
  • Positive attitude and professional behavior
  • Comfortable working in a group and individual setting
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Ability to problem solve and resolve issues
  • Ability to lift, push, pull 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and walk for at least 10 hours
