Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Associate to join our team at Family Express. As an Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for providing total customer satisfaction, serving the community, and safeguarding company assets by accurately reporting accounting data, cross-training functional areas, and adhering to accounting procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Promote the company's brand and values.
• Accurately and timely report accounting data.
• Safeguard company assets.
• Cross-train functional areas of accounting.
• Utilize computer programs to process invoices and accounts.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations.
• Monitor store compliance with accounting policy and procedures.

Additional Tasks:

• Account for Bakery and Distribution activities.
• Reconcile warehouse management system transactions.
• Prepare Bakery cost of sales.
• Account for fuel and carwash activity.
• File operating tax returns.
• Serve as a back-up associate for receivables and fixed assets.
• Maintain stores inventory and fixed assets.
• Process invoices for contracts and utilities.
• Verify vendor statements.
• Reconcile rebate payments.
• Manage proprietary fleet programs.
• Maintain lease records.
• Reconcile store entries for sales and cash equivalents.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• 2-4 year college degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
