We are seeking a skilled Radiology Registered Nurse to join our Special Procedures Department at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care in a procedural environment, working closely with physicians to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of invasive radiology patients, pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.
- Assist physicians in procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment is available and the room is set up efficiently.
- Monitor patients during procedures, documenting their condition and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications as ordered by physicians, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse, with compact licensure accepted if applicable.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
- American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification is required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
