Caregiver Advocate

We are seeking a skilled Respite Care Specialist to join our team at Jill's House Inc in Vienna, Virginia. As a key member of our staff, you will provide exceptional care and support to children with intellectual disabilities in a fully accessible facility.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide children during their stay, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Develop and implement activity plans that promote engagement, fun, and socialization.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; six months of experience working with children preferred.
• Weekend shift availability highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Patient, empathetic, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
