Job Summary

The PACU Nurse plays a vital role in the healthcare team, providing exceptional care to patients immediately post-procedure. As a Registered Nurse in this position, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and create personalized care plans
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care and interventions to patients
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Meet the requirements of CHRISTUS Health's Performance Improvement Plan
Requirements
  • One year of recent Medical-Surgical or Critical Care experience preferred
  • Current Louisiana RN license required
  • BLS Certification required
  • PALS and ACLS certifications
