Position Overview

Hourly Compensation: $27.00/hr.

We are in search of skilled CDL truck operators to manage local truckload deliveries, primarily focusing on drop & hook operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Transporting and collecting trailers within a 100-mile radius of Milwaukee, completing approximately 3 routes per shift; each shift lasts between 10-12 hours; drop and hook; no touch freight; utilizing automatic trucks; 53' dry vans.

This is a full-time, permanent role with weekly pay and benefits starting from day one.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 23
  • At least 1 year of CDL-A driving experience within the last 3 years
  • Possession of a valid commercial motor vehicle license
  • Successful completion of a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician
  • No history of disqualification to drive
  • Able to pass a DOT road test
  • PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years; scores above 10 require approval from the 48forty Solutions Team
  • No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
  • Preferred candidates will have experience in logistics, warehousing, OTR, Over-the-Road, and possess a CDL Class A License
