Salary: $52,000 - $63,500 per year

About This Role

This position offers an incredible opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the success of our clients. As an Intake Specialist, you will be responsible for handling sensitive data with care and attention to detail, ensuring the highest quality results. Your expertise in computer forensics and electronic discovery will enable you to drive efficiency and accuracy in our processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with advanced intake tasks, including archive and purge requests, custom requests, email/file conversions, job requirements scoping, workflow improvements, evidence disposition, and documentation.
  • Work with other departments to scope custom requests and provide accurate timelines for completion.
  • Perform advanced pre-processing functions using Forensic tools to search and/or cull data per client requests.
  • Identify Mac OS data and perform advanced pre-processing tasks to properly handle Mac Mail files.
  • Convert email from Mac Mail to PST using commercial tools.
  • Identify Gmail data types and perform email conversion using proprietary tools.
  • Proactively identify areas for improved workflow, quality, internal documentation, and processes to maximize system resources and efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement process improvements via testing, feedback, and implementation.
  • Contribute to a positive working environment as a team player; willingly accept additional challenges and help drive issues to resolution.
  • Assist with training and other internal initiatives as needed.
  • Maintain proper Chain of Custody, generate reports, and conduct data backups, extraction/restoration, and pre-processing using forensic applications and methods.
  • Communicate effectively with the Intake Manager Queue Manager regarding job status and potential issues.
  • Utilize password cracking software and industry-known forensic tools.
  • Perform thorough quality checks on client data and work product at multiple stages to ensure quality and maintain a sense of urgency on high-priority and critical requests.
  • Manage administrative duties relevant to project maintenance, including billing and reporting.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized computer lab at all times.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
