Job Title: Travel Nurse RN OB/GYN Specialist

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN OB/GYN Specialist to join our team in West Hollywood, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to patients in our OB/GYN department. As a Travel Nurse RN OB/GYN Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting and chaperoning MDs with procedures, providing coverage for clinical assistants, and coordinating clinic flow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist and chaperone MDs with set-up, procedures, ultrasounds, pelvic exams, and post-procedure patient care.
  • Provide coverage for clinical assistants, LVNs, and coordinating clinic flow.
  • Review charts, prepare fee tickets, and make follow-up calls to physician's offices, patients with results, and post-procedural calls.
  • Coordinate all infertility treatments from beginning to end with patients, physicians, and Assisted Reproductive Technology staff.
  • Perform Oral Glucose Tolerance, Adrenocorticoid Hormone testing, and phlebotomy as needed.
  • Communicate thoroughly to physicians and patients about abnormal lab results and proper follow-up.
Requirements:
  • Current, unrestricted California State RN License required.
  • American Heart Association BLS required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience required.
  • At least 1 year of experience with care coordination in a fertility practice preferred.
