Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate company-owned and leased trucks over 4 tons to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
  • Deliver, pick up, and relocate building products and materials to customer locations.
  • Perform required pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and maintenance on trucks and equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
  • Operate all Material Handling Equipment as needed.
  • Maintain all required certifications and adhere to company safety programs.
  • Protect company property and equipment at all times.

Requirements:

  • CDL Class A license.
  • Experience operating Material Handling Equipment.
  • Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times.
  • Ability to make overnight runs as required by shipping needs.
  • One or more years of experience as a truck driver.
  • Ability to learn and operate all Material Handling Equipment used by the company.
  • Ability to work in severe weather conditions and lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
