Job Overview

This role involves working with CNC lathe machinery to produce high-precision parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of blueprints and be able to work accurately from verbal/written instructions.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and written instructions to complete projects accurately.
  • Machinery Operation: Set up and operate CNC lathe machines, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Maintenance: Conduct regular machine maintenance to maintain optimal functionality and longevity.
  • Programming: Perform programming tasks to ensure accurate execution of machining operations.
  • Quality Inspection: Measure and inspect all work to meet print specifications and quality standards.

 

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School diploma or Trade School certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 standards.
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (preferred).
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and machine interface.
  • Competent in basic mathematics for measurements and calculations.
