Position Overview:
Tact Staff is in search of a dedicated travel nurse specializing in ICU - Intensive Care Unit nursing. This role involves providing exceptional care to critically ill patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patient conditions to deliver tailored nursing care.
- Collaborate with physicians to implement effective treatment plans.
- Document all nursing interventions and patient progress accurately.
- Advocate for best practices in patient care and support the integration of evidence-based methodologies.
- Manage and coordinate care for assigned patients, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of robust experience in critical care settings, with a background in medical-surgical nursing.
- Current RN license and certifications including BLS and ACLS (can be obtained post-acceptance).
- NIHSS certification is required prior to commencement of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in cardiac care, particularly with complex cases.
- Ability to float to various units as necessary, including MedSurg, Telemetry, and Step Down units.
Work Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts, with a commitment to weekend and holiday coverage as needed.
- Flexibility and reliability are essential for this role.
