Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team as an ABA Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and a passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs) for individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Conduct assessments and provide training to direct support staff and interdisciplinary teams
  • Collaborate with the Program Director and Interdisciplinary Team to ensure effective implementation of BSPs
  • Monitor and update BSPs as needed to reflect changes in behavioral needs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related human services field, such as psychology, special education, social work, or counseling
  • Minimum one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on designing, implementing, and evaluating behavioral supports
  • Ability to train staff on BSP implementation, conduct ongoing assessments, and revise plans based on behavioral changes
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving standards as per New Jersey policy
