About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Vascular Surgeon to join our team at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. As a vital member of our department, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in vascular and interventional radiology to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients.

The ideal candidate will possess a medical degree, be licensed in the state of North Carolina, and be board certified in radiology and interventional radiology.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures ensuring accuracy and precision in results
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and technicians to develop and implement treatment plans for patients
  • Stay up-to-date on current research and advancements in vascular and interventional radiology, and incorporate new techniques and technologies into practice
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support throughout the diagnostic and treatment process
  • Document all procedures accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining patient records and reports according to departmental standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and protocols within the department
  • Adhere to all regulatory and legal requirements, including maintaining licensure and board certification
  • Maintain professional development through continued education and training opportunities
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, empathy, and compassion towards patients and colleagues at all times
