Job Description

As a key member of the Forest Tek Lumber team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and lumber production facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts to move lumber and other materials within the warehouse
  • Build and assemble lumber products according to specifications
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading trucks
  • Inspect lumber for quality and ensure it meets safety standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Adhere to all OSHA regulations and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience operating forklifts
  • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on equipment
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in building and assembling lumber products
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members
