Job Summary:

The Mechanic 1st Class is responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of equipment, including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty machinery, and trailers. You will specialize in diagnosing and fixing issues with hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electronic systems, and engines. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our vehicles are safe, reliable, and meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain diesel and gas vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Operate standard and manual transmission vehicles, as well as power and pneumatic tools.
  • Ensure all vehicles are regularly maintained and in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Requirements:

  • Class D driver's license preferred and willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment.
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs. and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, up to 5 days per week, and occasional outdoor work.
  • Ability to meet D.O.T requirements and possess required hand tools.
