Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Transport EMT-Paramedic to join our team at Inova. As a Critical Care Transport EMT-Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing advanced life support care to critically ill patients during transport. You will work closely with our medical team to ensure the highest level of care is provided to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced life support care to critically ill patients during transport
  • Collaborate with medical team to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Enter required documentation, computer entries, and charges
  • Collect patient specimens and maintain inventory of equipment and supplies
  • Assist with patient transport and perform 12 lead ECG and continuous cardiac monitoring
  • Provide wound care and assist with department needs
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Two years of practice as a Paramedic and one year of ALS experience in pre-hospital or inter-facility transport
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and EMT-Paramedic
