Responsibilities- Assess patients and develop plans of care for wound-related issues
- Screen patients and evaluate chief complaints
- Initiate treatment measures based on appropriate utilization of standing orders, certifications, and standards of care
- Consult with attending providers and collaborate in developing multi-disciplinary approaches to care
- Coordinate available resources to provide patients and families with social, emotional, educational, cultural, spiritual, and other identified healthcare support system needs
- Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience, with a specialization in wound care
- Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university by the ACEN/CCNE in a nursing program with at least an associate's degree
- Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB) and Basic Life Support Certification
- Current, valid, unrestricted nursing license in the state, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States
