About the Role

KurzSolutions is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Wound Care Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patients and developing plans of care for those with wound-related issues.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and develop plans of care for wound-related issues
  • Screen patients and evaluate chief complaints
  • Initiate treatment measures based on appropriate utilization of standing orders, certifications, and standards of care
  • Consult with attending providers and collaborate in developing multi-disciplinary approaches to care
  • Coordinate available resources to provide patients and families with social, emotional, educational, cultural, spiritual, and other identified healthcare support system needs
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience, with a specialization in wound care
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university by the ACEN/CCNE in a nursing program with at least an associate's degree
  • Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB) and Basic Life Support Certification
  • Current, valid, unrestricted nursing license in the state, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States
