Job Overview

Employment Type: Seasonal

This role does not entail supervisory duties.


Position Summary:

The Male Locker Room Service Attendant is dedicated to delivering exceptional service to members, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment within the Men's Locker Room. This position is exclusive to male candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness by washing restroom floors, wiping mirrors, and cleaning basins, lavatories, and showers.
  • Restock essential supplies such as tissue, toilet paper, towels, soap, shampoo, razors, and after-shave lotion.
  • Provide personal services, including shoe shining, clothing brushing, and adjusting golf shoe spikes.
  • Ensure the safety and security of members' and guests' belongings.
  • Manage inventory of supplies effectively.
  • Transport towels to and from the laundry area.
  • Issue lockers, keys, and towels to members and guests as required.
  • Keep a record of occupied lockers and provide billing information to the Accounting Department.
  • Serve beverages and food to members and guests.
  • Regularly clean and empty garbage cans and baskets.
  • Handle phone messages for members and guests.
  • Change light bulbs as needed.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness within the locker room.
  • Oversee coffee and beverage supplies, prepare coffee, and clean the beverage area as necessary.
  • Participate in staff meetings.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing outstanding customer service.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the locker room.
  • Experience in cleaning and caring for athletic and golf shoes.
  • Knowledge of emergency procedures and ability to act accordingly.
  • Attentiveness to the locker room needs of club members and guests.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position and work effectively in a typical environment.
  • Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling, along with repetitive motions.
  • Continuous standing and walking required.
  • Able to lift, pull, or push up to 30 pounds.
  • Regular in-person attendance is essential.
