Senior Carpenter

Job Summary:
The Wood Framer will build, erect, install, and repair forms, structures, and other fixtures made from wood and other materials as needed to assist with various types of construction projects.

This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

In this position, you will be responsible for measuring, marking, and arranging materials to established layouts based on blueprints or instructions from supervisors. You will also cut and shape structures, forms, or other fixtures from wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall, using various hand and power tools.

Your primary goal is to ensure the accuracy of your work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels, surveying equipment, or framing squares; correcting problems as needed.

You will also create wooden forms for pouring concrete or for tunnels, bridges, or sewer construction projects, and erect and dismantle scaffolding as required.
