We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Advisor for Reservoir Engineering to lead our company-wide reservoir engineering efforts. This role will be responsible for driving the development of our reservoir engineering capabilities across all business units, including international and U.S. deep water basins.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of reservoir engineering strategies and plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate reservoir engineering into business decisions
  • Develop and maintain advanced reservoir models and simulations
  • Provide technical guidance and support to reservoir engineers and other stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in reservoir engineering

Requirements:

  • BS in Engineering (Petroleum Engineering preferred)
  • 25+ years of experience in operating companies with strengths in reserves, reservoir modeling, and field development
  • Experience in international and U.S. deep water basins
  • Strong skills in linking static and dynamic reservoir models
  • Advanced knowledge of reserves evaluation and reporting, including SEC and SPE-PRMS guidelines and regulations
  • Experience with Eclipse, PTA-PVT, and TNav software
  • Small team leadership and management experience in a matrix organization
  • Creative thinker with ability to develop and professionally express contrarian viewpoints
  • Ability to complete limited international travel (10%)
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Residency status highly preferred
