Job Title: Account Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our team at First MainStreet Insurance, L.C. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of maintaining strong relationships with clients and driving business growth through exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients, serving as their trusted advisor and primary point of contact regarding their insurance policies.
  • Account Growth and Development: Regularly communicate with clients to proactively address concerns, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for account growth.
  • Account Management: Manage assigned accounts and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Client Data Management: Manage and report information from clients to ensure we are assisting in minimizing exposures.
  • Market New Business: Seek opportunities to round out accounts to ensure we are fully mitigating the clients risk through insurance coverages.
  • Monitor Account Satisfaction: Monitor account satisfaction levels and take proactive measures to ensure high levels of account retention.
  • Business Development: Market new business and/or renewal business, could be in conjunction with a Risk Advisor or independently.
  • EPIC System Management: Manage all account work in our agency management system (EPIC) to ensure all data is accurate.
  • Professional Development: Seek and develop opportunities to increase knowledge of insurance industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of client and carrier information.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in account management, customer relationship management, or sales.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient or able to quickly learn and utilize Microsoft Office and other applications to maximize efficiency and function in a paper-free environment.
  • Licensing: Expectation to become licensed in 90 days.
  • Software Skills: Proficient in utilizing service management software and tools like EPIC.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Insurance Knowledge: Knowledge of the insurance industry terminology and documentation.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret insurance-related data.
