Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to join our team at Oak Grove Center in Waterville, ME. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for promoting the delivery of clinical services that meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Take complete responsibility for patients admitted to your service, ensuring timely and effective care.
  • Comply with AlignMed Partners' credentialing process and guidelines related to initiatives.
  • Visit assigned patients in a timely fashion, adhering to AlignMed Partners' policy and procedure.
  • Deliver high-quality care to assigned patients, working closely with the Center Medical Director to improve care in the facility.
  • Serve as a role model for other physicians and staff, articulating the AlignMed Partners mission to the community and professional organizations.
  • Help establish relationships with area hospitals and other pertinent institutions, ensuring seamless transfer and care arrangements.
  • Demonstrate care and compassion, ensuring all internal and external customers receive high-quality service.
Qualifications
  • M.D. or D.O. required, with Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred.
  • Geriatrics specialization is desirable, as is Certified Medical Director (CMD) through AMDA.

Pay Target: $200,000 / year
