We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Educator to join our team of professionals committed to providing exceptional early childhood education services.



About the Role


The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to the unique needs and abilities of our students. They will work closely with colleagues to maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that fosters social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.



Key Responsibilities



  • Curriculum Development: Design and implement curriculum plans aligned with state standards and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a well-organized and engaging classroom environment that promotes active learning and positive relationships among students, teachers, and staff.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster open communication with parents, guardians, and colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and continuous support for students.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on industry trends and research.


Requirements


To be considered for this role, you must have:



  • A minimum of one year of experience working with children aged birth-5 years in a day care setting.
  • A valid North Carolina teaching license in Early Childhood content or a related field.
  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Associate's or Bachelor's).
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality education and creating a supportive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.


What We Offer
