Warehouse Specialist

Penske Logistics, a leading provider of supply chain management and logistics services, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Specialist to join our team in Rincon, GA.

Salary: $20.00 per hour + $1.00 Shift Differential

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to operate a Stand Up Clamp Truck, accurately stage and sort products for loading, and load and unload trailers. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, be able to work independently, and provide exceptional customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate a Stand Up Clamp Truck to efficiently move products within the warehouse.
• Accurately stage and sort products for loading, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
• Load and unload trailers, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
• Sort and place parts in racks or other designated areas, ensuring accurate inventory management.
• Stack cardboard boxes and pallets, maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Complete daily logs, recording numbers of units handled and moved.
• Assemble product containers and crates, using hand tools and precut lumber.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• No prior experience required, but a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently, providing exceptional customer service.
• Flexible to work overtime and regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally up to 100lbs/45kg.
