Registered Respiratory Therapist for Critical Care

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional care in a critical care environment. This role requires expertise in both pediatric and adult patient care, particularly in high-acuity settings.
Certification Requirements- Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the VA State Board of Medicine
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications
- CPR and NIH Stroke Certification
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
- HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
- Competency Exam
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Delivering respiratory care to patients in the PICU/NICU and adult units.
- Utilizing advanced equipment such as Servo I, V60, Nitric, 3100A, and 3100B.
- Administering therapies and monitoring patient responses.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Applicants must possess:
- Critical care experience in a high-volume ER or Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Experience in a Level 3 NICU setting.
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records.
This position involves:
- 13-week assignment.
- 3 shifts of 12 hours each, from 7 PM to 7 AM.
- Every other weekend availability.
Compliance with the following is required:
- I-9 or attestation documentation.
- Driver's License or State ID submission within 48 hours of signing.
- E-Verify or attestation.
- Residency Declaration Form for nurses holding a compact license.
