DePaul University is seeking expressions of interest for a pool of qualified Part-time Faculty to instruct courses across various disciplines in all 10 colleges and schools.

Individuals may express their interest by submitting their credentials for any relevant postings.

Listings are organized by college/school and department. The screening of candidates in the pool is ongoing, based on curricular needs and available funding.

Departments will reach out to individuals if they advance to the finalist stage for teaching specific courses.

The pool will remain active until the closing date indicated in the posting details; those wishing to stay in the pool beyond that date must reapply.

All candidates in the pool will receive email notifications when the posting is closed.

Responsibilities:

The Media & Popular Culture track within the College of Communication at DePaul University invites expressions of interest for part-time faculty teaching roles.

Part-time teaching positions are available throughout the academic year, including summer sessions for select departments. Candidates with expertise that aligns with course scheduling needs will be contacted for interviews.

Academic course schedules vary from quarter to quarter, and the department will collaborate with selected individuals to establish a quarterly schedule.

While courses are not guaranteed, the Department strives to provide ample notice regarding available courses and potential cancellations.

Required Qualifications:

Ph.D. or ABD in Media Cinema Studies

The candidate must demonstrate experience in teaching within a diverse learning environment.
