We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled CDL A Transport Driver to join our team. As a Transport Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of propane to our customers.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities as a Transport Driver will include:

  • Driving a tanker truck (11,400 gallon capacity) to pick up propane at the supply point and deliver it to area AmeriGas facilities.
  • Making four to five pick-ups and deliveries per day, driving an average of 500 miles per day, and working up to 14 hours per day.
  • Loading and unloading propane from the tanker truck, which requires attention to safety and efficiency.
  • Performing regular vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3 years of tractor-trailer experience, with a minimum of 200,000 miles driven.
  • 1 year of tanker experience within the last 3 years, preferably with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
  • Eligibility for a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC).
  • No accidents or moving violations in the previous 3 years.
