Outpatient Services Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Outpatient Services Supervisor will play a key role in the management of the Outpatient Services department, working closely with the Director of Perioperative Services to ensure smooth operations and high-quality patient care. This individual will serve as a liaison between physicians, staff, and unit director, providing administrative support and leadership to ensure efficient throughput for all patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with administrative tasks to complete daily unit requirements
  • Ensure staffing needs are met for the unit
  • Provide direction and support to staff as needed
  • Fill in to assist the unit director with unit flow and tasks
  • Ensure staff complete monthly ALC courses, mandatory certifications, and employee health requirements

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved School of Nursing for a Registered Nurse
  • BSN a plus
  • At least four years of nursing experience as a Registered Nurse with experience within a leadership role
  • Self-assertive, organized, and able to function effectively under stress
  • Current Alabama license as a Registered Nurse
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS, and moderate sedation
