Position Overview
We are looking for a committed Pediatrician to become a vital part of our healthcare team in providing exceptional medical services to children. This role is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the health and well-being of the pediatric population.
Role Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), the Pediatrician will supervise clinical support staff and mid-level providers, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive health services to families from diverse backgrounds. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting in-service training for staff.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records.
- Completing coding for patient encounters.
- Participating in quality audits.
- Supervising mid-level healthcare providers.
- Attending departmental meetings.
- Ensuring adherence to established care standards and protocols.
The Pediatrician will also provide high-quality clinical care in compliance with state and federal regulations, meet productivity benchmarks, and participate in after-hours call rotations. Additionally, the role involves contributing to preventive health initiatives, behavioral health, and community wellness programs while supporting the Patient-Centered Medical Home model for culturally sensitive care.
