Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patient problems.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Document patient information accurately and timely.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program approved by the State of Texas.
  • Licensed to practice professional nursing as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant by the State of Texas.
  • Certified by a recognized national certification body in the area of population foci and/or additional specialty recognition.
  • Eligibility for DEA licensure.
  • BLS and ACLS or PALS or NRP certification required within one (1) year of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two (2) years clinical experience in the area of intended practice.
  • Commitment to the Partners-in-Caring process and ability to integrate our culture in all internal and external customer interactions.
