Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygiene Specialist to join our team at DCS Clinical.

Job Summary

  • Provide exceptional dental hygiene services to patients, ensuring their oral health and well-being.
  • Conduct thorough examinations, cleanings, and treatments, utilizing advanced technology and techniques.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, educating patients on proper oral hygiene and health maintenance.
  • Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for dental hygiene treatments, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Perform dental prophylaxis, detecting and preventing oral diseases.
  • Arrest dental decay, applying fluorides and other cavity-preventing agents.
  • Manage dental and medical emergencies, maintaining CPR certification and emergency supplies.
  • Document patient services, recording vital signs and medical histories.
  • Ensure operation of dental equipment, completing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting malfunctions.

Requirements

  • Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) licensure required.
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with dental technology, infection control, and health promotion.
