Music Educator

We are seeking a highly qualified Music Teacher to join our team at Goldendale School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students, implementing district-approved curriculum, and providing effective instruction to meet the needs of all students.

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with district standards and curriculum
• Provide clear and focused instruction to students, using a variety of teaching strategies to promote engagement and interaction
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement common formative assessments
• Establish and maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

• BA/BS degree and Washington state Teaching Certificate endorsed in music
• Documented successful teaching experience and/or student teaching experience
• Technical knowledge of Washington State learning standards
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to the District's vision, mission, and goals
