About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Deli Cook to join our team at First Coast Energy's Daily's convenience stores. As a Deli Cook, you will be responsible for preparing customer orders, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet all customers and answer questions in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Food Preparation: Accurately prepare deli food and specialty beverage orders to meet customer expectations.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment, wares, and utensils according to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Inventory Management: Count and weigh product, and calculate basic math involving decimals and fractions.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Age: 18+ years old.
  • Reliability: Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills in English (hear, speak, read, & write).
  • Physical Demands: Safely lift 55 lbs. and carry short distances, stand and walk for 8+ consecutive hours, climb a step stool, reach with arms above head, grasp with hands, bend, and crouch.
