Overview

Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $129,470 to $179,820. This is a competitive compensation package that reflects the importance of this role in driving productivity, collaboration, and innovation across the organization.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team that values diversity and inclusion. As a Senior Client Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the technology that empowers employees to do their best work. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and securing end-user devices: Handle operating systems, software deployments, and security configurations for laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Automating system administration: Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and secure our macOS environment.
  • Ensuring a secure environment: Collaborate with security teams to implement security measures and respond to incidents.
  • Troubleshooting complex issues: Act as an escalation point for technical problems related to end-user devices and applications.
  • Evaluating new technologies: Research and recommend new client platform solutions to enhance productivity and security.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We're looking for someone with a strong background in client platform engineering, systems administration, or a related field. Key qualifications include:

  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in IT.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with client management tools, MDM solutions, osquery for endpoint security, and Git/GitHub for collaborative configuration management and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Strong OS knowledge, including system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Security awareness, including endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and incident response.
