We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team at Soliant. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in providing behavior analysis services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Implement behavior plans and interventions developed by the supervising BCBA or licensed professional.
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy and support to individuals with ASD, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
- Collect accurate data on client progress and behavior using established protocols and techniques.
- Collaborate with the supervising BCBA, caregivers, and other team members to ensure consistent and effective treatment.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions and interventions.
- Build rapport and establish positive relationships with clients and their families.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in implementing evidence-based strategies and techniques.
- Continuously develop your knowledge and skills in applied behavior analysis (ABA) through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education in psychology, education, or a related field is a plus).
- Completion of a recognized RBT training program.
- Strong understanding of the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and its practical application.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and communicate with clients and families.
- Physical and emotional stamina to handle physically demanding tasks and challenging behaviors.
- Ability to work under the supervision of a BCBA or licensed professional and follow their guidance.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.
