Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at KSB Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate total nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department, as directed by physicians.
  • Participate in patient and family teaching, and provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other patient care personnel.
  • Maintain standards for professional nursing practice according to hospital standards, procedures, and departmental objectives.
  • Reports directly to the Director of the Emergency Department within the Patient Care and Nursing Division.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Illinois license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
  • Achieve and maintain ACLS, TNCC, and ERCN within 1 year of hire.
  • Must complete CPI training within one year of hire and re-certify annually.
  • Achieve and maintain PALS within 2 years of hire.
  • Biennial BLS certification.
What We Offer

At KSB Hospital, we are committed to transparency in our pay practices and publish the range of pay for each position. Offered pay rates will be determined by education, experience, and equity with current team members. Inpatient RN range is $32 to $41.82. Pay is based on years of experience.

  • Safety: Has received training, knows, and meets all job-relevant standards related to OSHA, Fire, Safety, and Utilities, Security, Emergency Preparedness, etc., complies with all safety policies using proper tools to provide a safe work environment, wears an ID badge at all times, and addresses Employee/Patient incidents promptly.
