Position: Quality Engineer II
OBJECTIVE:
To enhance and streamline the quality assurance management framework to ensure optimal performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and uphold the quality assurance management framework across various divisions
- Guarantee adherence to documentation protocols and client interfaces
- Provide regular updates on quality assurance metrics
- Implement strategies for error reduction
- Develop and sustain contemporary measurement and assessment systems for quality assurance
- Deliver proactive customer assistance and perform audits
- Oversee the quality of procured components
- Ensure alignment with certification standards
- Refine quality planning initiatives for designated projects
- Act as the quality representative in project discussions and address quality concerns
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline
- Over 7 years of experience in the automotive manufacturing sector
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Expertise in plastics, processing technologies, and quality management frameworks
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and PPAP
- Proficient in IT applications such as Office Suite and SAP
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Work conducted in office, laboratory, or manufacturing environments
- Physical activities may involve sitting, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs
- Adherence to safety regulations is essential
